Movie Plot:An animated adaptation of “The Wind in the Willow” followed by an adaptation of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. As the animated sections of the film are based on literary works, they are both projected in live-action sequences set in a library as a framing device. The first section is introduced and narrated by Basil Rathbone, and the second section is introduced and narrated by Bing Crosby. Decca Records released an album called Ichabod – The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, featuring Bing Crosby, with the film’s release in 1949.
