5 p.m. every week. An old man in a yellow mask (Kamisibai or Kamishbai storyteller) appears in the children’s playground and tells them ghost stories based on myths and urban legends of Japanese origin. The man tells the stories behind his bicycle using the traditional Kamishbai method, the paper drama, and brings out a new story every week. In the third season, instead of the old man in a yellow mask and his commxial state, a boy sits on the slide in a playground (later reveals to be a child) and sings, “Friends come to that side, “On this side… Guys go on this side, on that side… “As he creates pictures of creatures in stories. At the end of each episode, the storyteller’s mask sings the closing song for him, multiplying the number in each episode and the final one is worn on the boy’s face. As Season 4 returns, the commissioner returns, telling the story to the kids at 5 p.m. every evening, returning to the original draft of Seasons 1 and 2. In Season 5, children don’t look at playing on swings. Instead, they gather in the silhouette to call for the old man. In Season 6, the old man tells his stories in a forest rather than a school. A shadow takes the form of an old man and then masks the story.
