It’s Christmasttime in Bedrock, and the Flintstones and Rubles are all getting ready when they arrive in the city of Santa Claus. On Christmas Eve Fred is busy decorating the house, with Wilma and Pebble, when the rubles show up. While Barney helps Fred finish the decorations before going to work, Wilma and Betty, who are busy preparing for a Christmas party at the Bedrock Orphanage, talk about how Wilma failed to dress Fred as Santa for the kids. Still, she believes fred will change her mind if she insists.
Fred arrives at work at Slate’s quarry, where Mr Slate tells him he chose Santa for the children of the Bedrock orphanage during a Christmas party that happened the same night. Fred immediately accepts the honor, Mr Slate told him to take the rest of the day off, while warning him that he should show up on time, or he will be fired. “Its My Favorite Time of the Year” Singing, Fred left the house. Back at home, Fred tells Wilma how he accepted Santa’s offer of slate, and quickly turns into Santa’s costume. After a while, Barney leaves for the show and Wilma’s orphanage, while Fred and Barney plan the grand entrance of Fred. While planning, both hear a noise from the roof. Going out, they see a pair of shoes gripped in the snow. Taking them out, they find that the shoe owner was someone else but the real Santa, who accidentally slipped and fell from Fred’s roof, shattering his ankle. People realize that over a sprained ankle, Santa has also caught a cold, preventing him from giving gifts. Christmas is in danger, Barney suggests, fred should do so. Love the idea, Santa uses his magic, gives Fred his suit and turns Barney into a Christmas elf, while also instructing Fred to drive the sleaw.
