The film begins with Xi’an, Shizuka, Nobita and Suno, who discuss going for an adventure in their summer vacation. So Suno and Jian are tired of thinking about it, so they give Nobita this responsibility. Nobita asked Doraemon to do so and he launched a rocket on his roof to take pictures of every small part of the earth.
Meanwhile, Nobita’s mother, Tamako, hires Nobita to pick up some groceries. On his way to the market, he passes the playground where he sees a dog by himself. Feeling sorry for the dog, Nobita buys some sausage sausage while running his works and gives the dog something. Back home, Nobita and Doraemon will produce over 930 million photos that the satellite sees in the better way to find a good place for its adventure after realizing it.
Nobita soon learned that the dog he had fled before went to his house. Tamaco, who does not allow pets, tells Nobita that his purse is missing. The dog easily gets the purse through the smell of Tamaco’ slippers , nobita is allowed to keep the dog and name it Naco .Paco finds photos of a mysterious statue covered in fog somewhere in Africa and the group decides to discover and solve the mystery. But a surprise awaits them.
