In 1911, just two days before the Fourth of July, Lady and Trump have three humble and good daughters, Anette, Danielle and Colette, and a very playful but flamboyant son named Scamp. After messing up the scamp house, Jim Deere scares out the doghouse as punishment. His parents, Trump and The Lady, are upset that their son cannot follow the rules of the house. Trump tries to argue with the scamp, but loses his temper on his son’s insistence of being a wild dog. Later, Scamp sees a pack of stray dogs, named Junkyard Dogs, which harasstheers outside the yard and become an infighting. Scamp gets free from its chain and rushes to find the pack. She meets angel, a young member of the pack, and, after a flirtatuated introduction, she takes her to the rest of the Janaki Dogs. Meanwhile, Lady comes out to make a reconciliation with her son, but is terrified to see that she has disappeared. Panking, she comes back in and alerts Trump and Darling to start a search party.
