Before the creation of Poke Balls, in legendary times, an aura-guiding Pokémon told Lusario about two rival armies that were clashing near the Cameron Palace in the Kanto region. He informs his master Sir Aaron through a nearby crystal just before being attacked by three houndoms. During the battle, Lusario was temporarily blinded, but is still able to use his aura area to defeat Houndom – sensing his movements with his aura abilities. Cameron’s Queen, Lady Rin, decides that she is right to die with people, so Aaron emerges on her pizzot to meet with Lucirio, but is attacked by a rival group of squatters along the way. Aaron tells Lumario that he’s going and not coming back, and when Lumario tries to chase him, he automatically stops at Aaron’s staff. The tree of the beginning then shines a bright light covering the ground; Stopping the war, and the Queen realizes that the armies must have sacrificed themselves by using their aura to turn hatred into mutual understanding. Since then, he was honored as a hero, and remained his staff only for his legacy.
